17 days of global sports competitions have just started and the atmosphere is getting hotter around the world! Which competitive sport is your favorite? Swimming? Gymnastics? What about a Modern Pentathlon? Have you ever heard of it? It’s a sports contest that includes five events. The name may not be that common, but you’d be surprised to hear that it’s actually composed of 5 popular sports: Fencing, 200m Freestyle Swimming, Riding, Pistol Shooting, and a 3 km Cross-Country Run. You need to be good at all 5 sports, so I’d say it’s a very charming sport after all. For those of you who couldn’t make it to London and somehow want to share the excitement with the players, I’m going to recommend 5 of our games, one for each sport of the awesome Modern Pentathlon!

Tower Defense: Lost Earth / Fencing (Download – iOS,  Android)
You need to be good at offense to win a competition, but defense is required just as much. It’s exciting to see fencers moving back and forth so fast to attack and defend! Tower Defense: Lost Earth is a perfect game to feel the merit of de-Fence-ing. Defend your base from waves of enemies with a variety of towers and strategies!

Swing Shot / Swimming (Download – iOS, Android)

I was thinking about which game suits Swimming and then it went like “Swimming, swing, swimming… Swing Shot!” Anyway, getting a good start is paramount in Swimming but also fun because you don’t know who’s going to win until the end. Swing Shot is similar in that you shouldn’t give up ‘til the battle is over ‘cause you don’t know when your opponent will make a mistake… or get a finger cramp!

Derby Days / Riding (Download - iOS)

Horses, horses, horses! Derby Days is a perfect game for experiencing the excitement of Riding! Raise a newborn foal, train him, and watch him race in competitions and become a champion! Too overwhelmed of the beauty of other horses? You can have your own with wings, horns, and fancy colors in Derby Days!

Heavy Gunner 3D / Pistol Shooting (Download – iOS, Android)

After the three competitions above, athletes will need to shoot five targets within 70 seconds, three times, followed by a 1,000m run. Awesome isn’t it? Let’s experience the thrill of shooting with Heavy Gunner 3D, a graphically stunning intergalactic shooter. Heavy Gunner 3D is also a 2nd place winner for Best arcade game from the Best App Ever Awards!

Zombie Runaway / 3km Running (Download – iOS, Android)

Let’s run for 1st! I can’t imagine how overwhelming it would be to be the first one to cross the finish line, but I can at least share the excitement of running with the cutie-Zombie in Zombie Runaway! Watch out for the obstacles and stay focused to get the highest record! Just be careful not to miss the glorious moment of the Modern Pentathlon by getting too focused on the Zombie!
