Should i skip Darksteel Sword?

If i have a Plat Rapier should i sell it to buy a Darksteel sword?
or skip and wait till im 41 and buy a war sword?

Up to you. A Plat Rapier is pretty much perfect until War Sword but if you have the money and really want the DarkSteel sword and not willing to wait then buy it. I wouldn't do it though I'd just want until War Sword personally. There isn't much difference between Darksteel and Plat Rap.

You definitely could if you plan on leveling fairly quick.

I wouldn't even bother with a DS Sword if I had your Plat.

Keep PR for sure, when you come to sell it though you'll have enough to buy war sword with good stats and +6 right away, especially if your PR is +7
