Ooookay...been playing religiously for about 3 months, and have NEVER gotten a no hitter...well it happen like this....

1st inning: 1,2,3
2nd inning: 3 up, 3 down
3rd inning: 3 out change on 3 balls
4th inning: 3 strike out
5th inning: 3 pop flies!
6th inning: 3 out change on 3 balls (im on a roll)
7th inning: 1...2.....3...my dreaded nemisis the 7th innning went down
8th inning: more strike outs
9th inning: 1 strike out 2 strike out!! (I CAN DO THIS!)
BOOOOOM 2 out double off the wall, do the math, it was the
PITCHER!!!!!!

OMG i was furious, struck the last guy out, missed the no hitter, becuase a fluke ><

and the bad thing, I have Platinum Halladay, Plat Lincecum, Plat Cahill, Plat Cliff lee, Plat Tim Hudson, and I finally decided to try a rare Kershaw card i had to see how good he was.....HE'S the one that does what all my golden boys can't do...take a no hit bid 9 and 2/3rds innings, it was fun, but stupid furiating at the same time, lol funny because my platinum cards, even Mr. God Halladay, cant pull it off, it took a lvl 1 Rare blue Kershaw to do it :(

Yeah, no-hitters pretty much ave a 1% chance of happening in this game. No matter what, some scrub or pitcher will get you starting in the 7th inning.

And yeah, damn, I cannot wait to get a PLAT Kershaw.

Pretty much. I had a no-hitter broken up by an AL pitcher in the WS in the ninth, and I recently had a no-hitter broken up with two outs in the ninth by some nobody as well. I love how this game allows you to get so close, yet so far. It seems like if you're on a roll heading into the ninth inning, the chances of you finishing with the shutout or no-hitter are only about 5%.

I totally know the feeling. Just today I was going perfect with my lvl 2, 6 exp. hero Grienke (normally an awful pitcher) anyway I'm 7 2/3 in with 18 strikeouts (that's 18/23 outs) and I'm like yeah I can totally do this, let's skip to the box score Grienke 7 2/3 ip, 18k, 7h, 5er. Still won but I'm a bit miffed. Furthermore, one of the player who got a hit was batting .014 on the season? This was the first interleague game so about 40 games in. I am so confuzzled. But yeah, Kershaw is an absolute monster.

I've thrown a few no-hitters, but I've carried a no-no past 7 innings about a couple dozen times.

Well....
think about how often no-hitters happen irl.

Good point. But, how often do pitchers have 30 wins, an ERA below 1.50, and a WHIP below .650 for an entire season IRL? The shut outs and no-hitters could at least be proportional. Out of dozens and dozens of pitcher seasons that would be unanimous Cy Young winners IRL, I've thrown 3 no-hitters, I think. And had about three dozen broken up with four or less outs to go. Don't even get me started on the amount of two out in the ninth homers in a shutout game given up by a stud pitcher with 65+ stamina left.

Oh god, don't get me started about how annoying it is to give up a home run, only to find out the batter didn't have many HRs on the season, or was batting .020 or something. And then the next at-bat is the team's star player and you strike them out.
