I got a Hero Strasburg with 113/108/82 A/C LV 7 +2xp, and he only pitches 102 mph max fastballs. Shouldn't this be a decent amount higher?

Does he have lightspeed? I have found my guys with less than 110 pow can't throw much higher than that without lightspeed. Just my observation.

I haven't figured out the pitch speed correlate in this game. I remember when my fastest pitcher used to be Chris Narveson with something like 89 POW on my original Brewers team. Also, I think 4 seam rating has a lot to do with it, as my Chapman is the only pitcher on my roster with a 5/5 4 seam and I think he's my fastest pitcher, no light speed.

My Strasburg may be the best pitcher in this game:
Plat lv6 Light Speed/Budda/Machine 100/115/90
constantly pitches 110mph, occasionally 112mph
I'll try to catch a screenshot or video

Brian Beards 4seam is 5/5 if I remember right. Lightspeed adds a bar to your x/5 rating of your 4seam, and that's it. Also 108 is nothing to sneaze at but some pitchers here will go up into the mid 120's or better depending how the L-ups play out. With 110-112mph being about max your stras card is playing about right I figure. If anything, your B. Beard is pitching faster than he should, rather than your Stras pitching slower than he should.

mid 120s? what the, I don't even well no, not that it would be common, I'm just referring to about where the top stat'd pitching cards cards could top out at. The biggest pitcher stat I've seen is 133 end. on Jommys? Halladay card, not that it's ballanced. My own biggest stat for a pitcher is 119 I think, and just recently pulled a Lester with a stat that starts L1 @ 111, and it always seems when you have a giant stat, that it sucks up about 2/3's of your L-ups, no matter how badly they're needed elsewhere.

I think you might be right the rating may help. But my guys who hit 112 mph, which I think is the fastest possible, their POW is at least 115. I have a Chapman with no light speed but 117 POW and he hits 112.
