View Full Version : Any suggestion on how to allocate initial stat for a Magician?
Should I just distribute all point equally to all available stats?
or
Pump everything into Int and Wiz?

Just saw an information posted by Com2US on facebook.
IMO: The World of Magic stats information: STR(power:) Affects short distance attack damage. CON: Affects max. HP increase per level and HP recovery rate. DEX: Affects Attack success rate, evasion, long distance attack damage. INT: Affects damage, success rate, duration of magic attacks. WIS: Affects max. MP increase per level and MP recovery rate.
Warrior class by default initially will have 6 creation points, Archer 9 and Mage 12 points.
Each type of attributes are capped at 18 points maximum.
You can't go beyond any point higher than this amount.
Basically the best option is to use 6 creation points on INT and 6 on WIZ, which will both max out the attribute tree for Mage. :)

That is basically what I have selected for my first mage char, with both Int and Wiz at 18. I dun really care about dex or str, but a bit worry on low CON (8 points), as the total hp is quite low..., but i think i will try this setup and see how good it is...

When you have the chance, please share the differences with us! :D
I'd rather use a build based on Int and Con, I prefer using MP potions than HP, since HP is vital and MP isn't^^.
Just an opinion, find out whatever suits yourself~

Based on the skill lists under Magician tree, they can simply do a transfer of MP by sacrificing their health and do a heal to recover the loss.
So in my opinion MP recovery would be more versatile since almost all magicians skills depends on MP.
But if there's any difference for Consitution build, that would be challenging too.

I am making three mages. One with Wisdon and Intelligence capped out. One with Intelligence and Constitution capped out. And lastly, one with Constitution and Dexterity capped out. I just like to see how various builds play out.
