Have Old man translate Letter

I'm doing the quest where i need the letter translated, the old man says he's thirsty and wants a beer, I missed the part where he says how many he wants.. I have 6 or 7.. but when I click here's your beer he says "what I dont' see any beer"

I'm giving him the beer that I get for dried mushrooms.

Go to the NPC where you trade 1 mushroom for 1 beer. He has the option to accept 10 at a time. You need to trade him 10 all at once in order to get the special beer needed for the quest.
