Holy Water ...

So i bought 3 holy waters for $0.99 and used them to bless my armor enchant scrolls D. I tried to enchant my +4 Kitty hat into a +5 with the enchanted scroll and some wierd text: "TXT_BLESSED_" Something like that popped up and my kitty hat got back to 0.

I misread it was suppoused to work like that, and I must say it's rather disappointing for the price paid.

EDIT: So i tried 3 times to enchant it to +5 and it had a 100% failure effectiveness (with Holy water on), more than it would have had by normally enchanting it. The resulting error all times was: TXT_ENCHANT_FAILURE_HAS_BLESSING_NOT_ICE_VIEWPORT

And my hat has gone back to 0 (3 times, that means around 15 armor D scrolls) and I wasted my 3 holy waters :(
Oh, and Im broke heh :D

Well, I guess fresh start for me again.

1)one question, does the scrolls has 100% passing rate as in from 0 to +1?

2)if it switches from 0 to +1, does it mean that it success upgraded? and i will hav like 5 more chance to upgrade it before it break for D type scrolls

3)after the upgrade(0 to +1), does it affect the eq stat as in increment from eg: Hitrate 3 to Hitrate 4?

1) each type of scroll has a safe limit, Armour is +4 and weapon is +6, so it's basically 100% up to those level. After those limit there's a chance of break, but if you use holy water on the scrool before enchanting it should prevent it from breaking but goes back to 0. However from what I've heard using holy water is basically 100% fail to going to next enchant

2) yes but remember the safe limits

3) there's chances that you might get extra stats, I've enchated my caine tooth with a weapon D enchant and it gave it +3 str, so it happens but it's rare

I had the same problem with my Boots of Speed, used one Holy water to go from +4 to +5 was ok then back to 0 when I tried +6.

I keep the last holy water for later because it's useless if you don't have a very good item (very rare and max bonus) a,d a lot of money.

what do you mean you enchanted with enchant scroll + holy water or just enchant scroll thats give the +3 str?

I just used a regular scroll to get the +3 since I was going from 0 --> +1 on my enchant there was no point in using a holy water on the scroll itself
