The fact is that mage level up the slowest and hardest compare to a archer and warrior . if u think that mage lvl up faster then either u are too low lvl or blind ...
there the summery
Warrior (level 16)
able to tank 5 skele at one time
able to solo
each skele give 0.12-0.13 exp for lvl 16
not easy to die
take them 1 min to kill all
every 4 min take one min for pot
5 x 0.12 = 0.6 per min
5 min = 2.4 exp
----------------------------------------------------------------------
archer (level 16)
can solo
kill 1 or 2 at one time
each skele give 0.12 -0.13 exp
take 30 sec to kill both
not easy get hit as they slow mob
dun really need pot
2 x 2 x 0.12 = 0.48 per min
5 min = 5x 0.48 = 2.4exp

mage ( level 16)
cant really solo
kill 1 or 2 at one time
each skele give 0.7 exp (party of 2 )
take 30 sec to kill one
easy get hit as freeze is random timing (sometime dun even freeze)
need pot every 4 min
0.7 x 2 x 2 = 0.28
5 min = 4 x 0.28 = 1.4exp

Umm...that isn't so accurate. That is due to the fact that warriors attacks miss often and thus it takes them longer to gain experience as they don't kill as many enemies as the other classes do. And the mage isn't easy to hit because they can attack from a distance, they don't need freeze. However warriors on the other hand have to go right next to the enemy...so I would say the hardest class to work with would be the warriors. Apparently around level 20 however they become extremely good to play with.

Warriors, Archers enchant ur wepons and armors. You guys can overwhelm magician.
the reason is that magician wepon is so weird.
lv 4? 6? staff and 14 staff attacks almost same.
im 16 magician with +4 14staff, 16 archer hunts same or faster than me.
if U disagree with this, just try enchanting and compare with same lv magician.

Another factor.
You put the mages in a party.
So you have to know how party exp works.
Also,
at a mid level.
Mages can solo.
Granted they can freeze the enemy.

my warrior at lvl nearly 19 in high end gear for that level cannot tank and kill 5 skellys at once effectively, so yea thats bull.

lol try mage and u will know that at level 15 onward mage are the hardest and slowest to lvl.
and yes that is fact that there is this warrior who can.he can solo blackskull (even if mage 4 party cant even kill it easily ) i think his gear are +6 ?
for the timing is just an estimate that warrior take abit long time to kill.
the freeze dun seen like it always is . it said that it will freeze for 4 sec but sometime even hit the mob still able to move and attack .
and why do hp potion have a heal of 100 hp where mp have only heal of 60 .

I'm Lv16 warrior now with 300+hp, 42 armor defense.
Even myself i can't even tank more than 2skeletons without drinking pots to self heal.
Your statistics are too exaggerating.
Moreover warrior class has hit rate issue since Lv1.
We can only fight mobs that are orange color tier below.
Anything higher, we have more than 30% miss rate.
Skeletons for my case is orange tier and i tend to miss them in melee.

We can only fight mobs that are orange color tier below.
Anything higher, we have more than 30% miss rate.

@Thread Starter I agree with Ken it isn't as easy as you make it seem.
@kenoon There are items, only seen them on sturdy leather gloves, that increase hit rate.

but for mages not saying they cant kill any 1on1 fast, its the fact that while you are killing one high chance more will be gaining on you, thats what make them cant solo very well i think
and warriors with rage and okish gears are able to tank a few at once and kill them 1by1
however warriors are getting a lot better at this lvl, i still remember doing 8dmgs on mob before lvl 10 lol
ps: try find a hitrate 4-5 lvl13gloves, it will help alot for warriors. if you feel its not nuff hit rates still.. try get a spider silk armor with crit and hit rate lvl16armor. but it only has 6armor which means its more of a ranger armor to me, personally i perfer the lvl16 sturdy woopa armor which gives 8armor health15.

Actually mages kill pretty fast...just using flame shock I kill crabs in a few seconds. Oh and I'm always helping out warriors who are having problems killing enemies. To each his own. However warriors do have superb defense.

Crabs is nothing. When you get to the lighthouse you will find out you can't actually solo there. Too much mobs, too little armor on yourself. Before you finish killing one, you're being attacked by another mob already. Cast delays and spell casting que sometimes prevents you from running.
Don't even think of bringing in the "I enchanted my armor so it has more armor now" thing. I'm speaking in general and for those who just started and who are not funded.

Cast delay between 2 skills. If you try to spam the skills, heal for example, it will continue healing as if it has been stacked.
Mage is easy at the beginning. Down the road imo its easier to go warrior/archer.

As of yet I have not had a problem between casting two skills... Besides what level was your mage when you stopped? Well to each his own I guess.

I believe all classes in basic are pretty much the same, have their own strengths and weaknesses. But one major problem i have experienced is that IMO dun really have gears to support mages. And in a MMO gears plays a big part in everything, even more than level.
I've seen pretty neat gears for higher lvl warriors, even archers. But for us mages, we barely have gears to choose from, and most of it are drops only.
As for the skills part, same issue warriors and archers' skillbook are more easier to find than mages.
Gears and Skills is way more important than lvl in IMO, which is giving mages a big problem down the road when FS can't kill first enough.

I don't actually agree with mages being easy at the beginning. Im an archer right now, and i can tell you that mages certainly own me, because they can hit much higher then I can. Im almost lvl 13, and redsox is almost lvl 11, and i can tell you that he hits 40s while im hitting 30s. Mages can heal, which allows them to not really need pots. I may have higher health, but i can't freeze, poison, etc my opponents. I'm happy to be an archer, but i certainly think that "down the road" mages/archers are "easier"

i can hit 50 crits at 14 but normally only about 10-15 dmg per hit

Sorry but that's impossible. Im level 16, using a +5 weapon of my level and i hit between 11 and 20. Crits do 30-44.

This is ridiculous. All classes are equal in a way.
Since DnD Mages HAVE always been glass cannons with direct damage, AoE and crowd control. Healing is typically the Clerics job.
Rangers are long ranged specialists. Always have been. They always have good range attacks.
Warrios have always been the tank guy but brutal in close combat but lacking in the range department and AoE. They also have less crowd control.
In this game it's quite similar EXCEPT monsters stick to you like bees to honey. Thus Mages then Archer and last Warriors have trouble with this. Sure a tank can tank but without healing there comes a point where they will succumb especially against red/oranges named monsters. Sweeping Strikes is about the only AoE Ive seen and as for crowd control... Enter the Mage and Archer. Mage has AoE, Strong Direct Damage, Heal, Crowd Control and some defensive buffs but they can't take hits. Archer has a balance they enjoy direct damage, status effects, ways to pin their target, yet their armor is not that good either.
My point is they are all needed at higher level play.

That's still impossible. Assuming he is level 13 and has a good weapon like i did when i was 13 he should do between 7-15, maybe a little more normal damage and between 30 in crits.

I'm talking about with skills like double shot and stuff not with the normal bow.

Sorry i should have said that it was a critical hit. With Double Shot and Concentration (which i assumed would be included) i hit 30s. My normal shots are between 7-20. If you don't believe me come see me play ;).

The critical and HP regen is too attractive to be missed :D
