Diferent coloured character names?

why does my character's names turn to different colours?
so far it has experienced:

red
purple
black/grey


i've also seen blue

can someone help me decode these colours?

Red -> Killed a Character in PvP
Purple -> Attacked a Character in PvP
black/grey -> ???

Other colors come from Wingfril's Echo :)

Grey means after you killed someone (you turned red) and you get pk-ed by enemy back.

problem is, i've never killed anyone! all i ever did was in the mushroom spore cave map, while killing monsters i use freeze, maybe in the process people of other factions lost like 3,4 hp?
