Is Parry worth spending skill points on?

Just wondering if Parry is effective enough to spend my skill points on, or is it better to save the points and just enhance my armor?

Parry (deflect enemy's attack by using weapon to block) is like an additional bonus 'blocking' skill on top of that from a shield blocking.

This is a must have skill for warrior in my opinion.

It's worth it even if you're not a tanker.
