Iron balls

On days like yesterday when you have an easy pitcher and everyone is stringing homers together.....whoever gets the iron ball is sure to loose the game.
This is not what I call fair play. I think this ball should be eliminated all together... Don't you?

The chance I get/send iron balls from/to my oppoents is always 50:50. The iron ball is a killer, stopping your oppoent from getting consecutive homeruns. It can save my butt or ruin my day. Once I got 3 in a game against Ranman in the Star room, and I was sure I would win before the result came out:D I am ok that it is eliminated. Or reset its feature, like reducing 1/4 of the hitting distance.

I'm not sure that removing this feature is the appropriate action to take when dicussing fairness and unfairness.

I think if you made the iron ball a harder pitch to hit that you will be sending to your opponent, THEN, this would make things more interesting. Having the iron ball on easy pitches, though, could be part, if not most of the problem.

It's really nice to get others ideas for solutions to a situation that is troublesome for many. I like what I have heard from both players on this issue and would also like to say that if nothing else were done using one of these idesa brought forward, that the number of times you can be on the recieving end of this ball should be 1 per game. .. I think that any player who is talented enough to quickly recover from an iron ball and make all the right shots afterwards and fight his way back to still have a shot at winning, then by all means don't shoot the mans other foot when he is already at a serious disadvantage. If you can come back and stage yourself for the win after having your consecutive runs broke up by the iron ball and without returning an iron ball to the other player, or getting helped by a 2x ball...then you deserve to win the game and should be awarded additional gold balls for the achievement.

I almost threw my phone when I was about to win a match against a 3 star master when an iron ball came on the last part of the game.

But sometimes it does save me on other matches. Yet I still don't want it.

maybe i'm a purist, but, i think the 2x and iron balls should both be eliminated because they seem to be random. just play straight-up, make the shots, hit the boards, get your cycles, etc.

I agree about the iron ball...But in a way i kinda like it bcuz like Danny said it can save u sometimes when ur opponent is on a roll...The crazy thing is the 1 that looks like its the easiest 1 to hit is actually the hardest 1 to hit!:confused:
