I have dedicated this thread to us beta testers.
First (and only current point) point, have you noticed any changes at all since the beta? Ya there's a few small things, noob critters do less damage and whatnot but, the xp rate hasn't changed, the lack of exp from quests hasn't changed, the cash shop doesn't have any customizational armor things, the list goes on...

In my opinion they wanted us to check online and iphone issues like commands, lag, ping and maybe some typo. They didn't listen to us because the game was already running in Korea. I still think they need to change a few things for occidental market.

So nothing actually changed, huh, well I can't say I wasted my time in beta, wel not for changing certain things anyway, I got 10 bucks and my name and part of my character's name in the credits! The game would rock though if the beta was treated more like a beta instead of a "does this game work?".

I wasn't a beta tester but I think at the moment com2us doesn't listen to anybody, and thats damn stupid. Man i like this game, i like com2us, all users and moderators here are nice and cooperative. But one thing I don't understand, when the game is running in korea since a long time, why does IMO has so many things to fix? The connectivity is great, yeah thats right, but the story of the game, the quests and the storyline suxx at the moment, and it suxx hard, so i wonder why nobody is fixing anything.
I won't leave, but I would be happy to "feel" changes in the future.

From what I have seen and it looks like they dont have the access to change certain gameplay elements. It looks like the team here is focused on getting the original game working bug free on the iphone, not making any major changes or adding any content. People don't realize that there is a lot of work that goes into adding items, skills, quests, etc... Its not just changing a few lines of code it really takes a whole team of coders, artist and networking people.
At first glance this game is really polished and developed until you get past the first starting zone that is. Take a look at their online cash shop and youll understand how this game is built. Its built to make money off only new and very hardcore players. New players dont know better when buying the pack because they see a great starting town and assume the rest of the game is just as great. When you first enter the game you see a nice town full of players, quests, shops, npcs, and so on(its a great town! nice job). These new players say, Wow! I want buy a starter pack, this game is so cool its just what i have been looking for. As for the hardcore players they are not afraid to grind 5-10 hours a day because they wanna be the very very best and highest level no matter how empty the content is. That is where the insurance scrolls come in.
I would love more than anything for them to develop the rest of the game in depth like they have in the first hours of game play. It is pointless and not profitable to spend time and money developing past the first few hours when they only need that starter content to make their money off starter packs. As for making money off the hardcore players they have just enough content to keep them satisfied killing the same monster over and over. By having so little content equipment wise they will acutally be making more money because of the importance of enchanting items.
The developers have stated this is for hardcore players and they love they grind on top of that like i said before i dont think they have the power to add or change much even if they wanted to.
Yes its a free game and i didnt have to buy any starter packs but i did. Although I did get quite a few hours of play out of my starter packs before I figured out just how empty the game was after the first few hours of play I still feel like i was mislead.

If you noticed, less than 10% of the beta testers gave decent feedback, the main reason being the other 90% barely played/did not even play the game. When the time to give some feedback came most said:
"Q:What do you think of the PvP field?"
"A: Cool! (Now gimme my 10 bucks)"
Mainly Com2US's fault for just picking whichever person they saw to test the game.

So I'm one of the only few that actually tested and spent time getting past lvl 15?!?! Sigh. I wish they could implement more changes, I mean is it not their game? Why not just save the files to a different name and leave them dang Koreans with their whole lives being free time to play the original? Just kidding, but seriously, why not make a simple, more quest based exp boosting, action packed, smooth american (or Canadian like me) version? USA the world of inotia! Or something... 0.o

USA and Canada .... don't forget there are a lot of countries in world :)
I agree Braiton, but I think we did a good job but I think it was a waste of time since we didn't help for something else than lag and typo.

I tried to help with stuff other than lag and typos, I spread out on all 3 classes, I checked out their skill trees, and I'm pretty sure that for mages, the flame of kataru did more damage, but among other things, only the damage for each class and a little exp boost every 12 hours or so.

Umm...the highest level attained by a player in the beta was 14...
And Flames of Kataru requies a level of 20 to use...

Nice memory, anyway I was just sayin 15 for multiples of 5, and still, flames of kataru has a slight damage boost, but it's useless anyway.

Lateralus, from what I have seen you assume they don't have a team. But guess what they do! They can change the whole game if they want to! Wow, who told you they couldn't change the game or have the rights to change it?

Which looks like to me that him or the rest of the us team thats running this game do not have direct rights to change or add certain parts of the game. Yes it looks like things can be changed if they wanted to but it wouldn't be directly from the us imo team it would go back to the developers first. Its good to see its possible but I feel like hes saying its not probable. Please correct me if im wrong because id love to see them build onto this game I really do like it but the grind/lack of content is just to harsh to continue after a certain point.

She is a GM, not a developer. When she says she doesn't have the right to speak on behalf the company is because she doesn't. She is just a GM that got hired to monitor the game not a developer. That doesn't mean Com2US don't own the rights to make changes in the game. What's up with text interpretation these days? lol.

Umm Mikki is a PR Rep. She isn't on the dev team. The dev team can change stuff.
