A couple of Qns =)

Hi, I just started on queen's crown a few days ago. Could someone advise me on a few questions that I am not so clear on.

I've gone through the forum's posts and saw certain advise to use spear for later in the game against a certain boss. So i decided to use spear.
But i've realised that raising Str and Dex gives just about the same amount of attack for spear, however increasing str raise the target hit and defence at certain points, while dex increases the AVD.

1) What is AVD for and should i put all my future points into str only ?

I realize that there's a boss in black's cave at the starting town after you defeated the boss and acquire the black gem. But the boss is always 15 Levels above my character level along side with two priests.

2) I've tried killing the priest but they keep respawning. Would the two priests stay dead if i kill them enough times ? Could anyone offer other advise on how to defeat the boss, or let me know if the loots are not worth my effort.

I think I saw the "tips" in between the loading time mentioning that the Gem slots will increase as I level up my weapon skills.

3) Do I have to level up the different weapons' skill, or just my weapon I am using primarily ?

I've discovered the answer for my third qns myself. All the different weapons' skill need to level up in order to spread the gem slots up evenly

Avd is avoidance (chance attacks will miss you) so that needs tone as high as possible without losing attack power and hit % or crit, if u kill the peepers like 4x each they stop spawning, as well as if ya get the stun gem...you might stun a set long enough to kill the main boss

For question number 1, if you're using spear, then put 3 in str every time you lvl and 1 in dex and vit(rotate between the two) until they reach 40 and then put everything in str.
str increases the power and accuracy for spear, dex increases your dodge, acc, and power and vit increases your health

Question 2: The priests keep respawning until the skeleton dudes are all gone. My advise is use Twister to take out as many Skeletons as possible, and catch the Priests in there also, if possible. Makes the fight go a lot quicker.
