Is username-&-passwords system feasible?

I have seen many players complain losing their records after changing their devices since I played this game. So I always wonder whether an username-&-passwords system is feasible or not. I believe this login system will prevent players from losing the records. We all know that our devices at hand will be replaced by another sooner or later. And many of us have already spent much time to build up the ranking. So, com2us, could you please consider changing the login system so that we won't have to face these frustrating experiences anymore, even though the task is very very hard for the programmers? I think this is the most urgent issue. Maybe you can combine the two systems, so one unique ID can only register one account, and from then on, the player can retrieve his record via this account whenever he wants. I think the most important thing is to transfer the data completely from the current system to the new one.
If there are some technical problems that can not be overcome, please inform me. I would like to figure out a way for players to recover their data with com2us, and right now I have some information that may be helpful. Thanks.
