what is the point to scrolling any armor or weapon, besides the fact that it now magically cost more to buy it?

Armour scrolls increase the armour by 1

Weapon scrolls increase the damage of basic attacks and spells. (this applies to mage and their staffs as well)

Actually, i'm a lvl 19 Mage. I had a +6 oak tree staff and tried for +7. I failed (it was enchanted) so now I just use that. Havnt noticed a bit of diffirence
