    Lol I know what you mean. Every game I've played up until now has had the drop determined at the time of the kill, not spawn. It's possible to do it at spawn, but it would use more resources(every single existing entity would have to have extra information stored for its drops etc).

    Oh, also, I don't really have a large enough sample for them to count for much but...

    Out of 24 feather exchanges I've gotten 20 recall scrolls, 1 armor D and 3 weapon D's.

    Out of 10 Pamphlet exchanges I've gotten only recall scrolls.

    Out of 20 Mystic Stone exchanges I've also gotten only recall scrolls...

    It does come down to luck, but there's always the average. Yes, there are the people that may get two bulldozer cloaks and a couple bull rush II's in under 30 kills, but when you average out a large number, the proper percentages do eventually show themselves. And once you have those, you know what to actually expect. It's also entirely possible to have to kill 500+ of something to get a 5% chance item due to unluckiness, but still =p

    But yeah, "random" in games is all judged by hard percentages, and the actual choice is made from a pseudo-random number generator which runs some algorithms based off a seed number(usually the current time to milliseconds). Even that can affect the averages a bit, if the seed is the same, the results are the same. Theoretically, if someone kills something at the EXACT time(assuming the seed is time based) as someone else they would get the same exact drop. That's just in theory though, since I'm not sure exactly how the coding for this game is done =p

    Random doesn't exist in programming, only pseudorandom; and where there's a percentage, there's reason to log it =p I know the common classifications. But I want to know that actual chance. Not just "less common/rare" etc. Allows one to calculate an approximate/average profit margin etc.

    I've actually logged all of my more recent bulldozer/bro kills. And a number of some other monsters. Have over 900 poisonous spider kill/drop logs from earlier farming haha =p helped me figure out some drop averages etc.

    But yeah those were the stats I was aiming for from my research on the forums, wiki and traders. I'm one of those that does a lot of research and learns as much as they can so they are going in at least decently educated =p and then once I know all of that I pursue more knowledge through personal experience and experimentation haha.
