If its possible to reach maximum of 50 skill points, why is it(for rangers) you'd need 100 to use all skills(volume3/4 on those available at most). Minus-ing non-existent skills like ensnare iv, con iv, ect.

Actually it's 49 skill points total.

How did you get 100? Ranger's don't have 25 skills; only 17.

17*4= 68 skill points.

This helps make you decide what skills to max and what skills you should just put 1 or 2 on (if all skill books were available to IV), that way, not one character that has all skills is totally OP.

Yeah, I noticed that.

But considering by that stage, all your skills will be PKing only, people won't use Poisoning, Cure Poison, Mana Feed, Kataru, Firestorm, Sara Blessing, Ice Lance (if they opt for FSIV), and probably put a max of 2 skill points on fear, since even at Fear 1 with decent INT, you can keep them under your control easily.

The existence of mana feed was a glitch. Still can't believe mana feed is actually a skill in this game. Consider that it doesn't exist.

My calculator fudged me then. Or my maths off. Or.. Are there no voll3 35+skills? 17*4 on my cal said 160? Something. Maybe I forgot to clear it before using. ouo just tried again and got 68. But still if they ever plan to release new skills, wont they have to do something about the points?

In pretty much every RPG game I've ever played, you can never max out your skills because then there would be no difference between high levels and takes away quite a bit of the decision making of "what's good" and "what complements the other skills well".
