erm from the description: golden hammer/pickaxe - smash a rock/crystal with a single swing

so i think the logic is, u need only 1 smash to clear each obstacle. but for 1 smash, u need the specific amount of heart/energy, which in this case its 2 for each rock, and 3 for each ore.

the advantage of such golden tool is that - u dont need to smash more than once to remove the obstacles. so indirectly u save 2 or 3 hearts/energy.

well im just guessing/interpreting since i dont own golden tools myself :P

yeb the golden things should save the energy from smash but it's not....its work the same as normal as use the same number of heart/energy so why would i paid the star for this craps....right?

anyway hope com2us fix this soon so i suggest whoever dont buy them.

Cool

I have the golden axe and it works fine, you need to see that when you smash something it breaks in 1/2 not in 2/2, ie it takes a single swing for them to be broken. The energy you require for that single swing is supposed to be 2/3 (stone/ore). Its not a bug, its the way its supposed to work. On the other hand a cool thing is that some of these also allow you to scare away the smaller animals with a single swing, which I like and agree with, since you are using the same tools for it. Hope you got it.

okey i never use the normal hammer to hit the rock so i dont know it's take 2 energy per hit and you need to use 2 hits to break the rock so it's mean you have used 4 hearts/energy to break 1 rock , is that correct?

Yes, what the golden hammer does is require 2 energy instead of 4, per rock.
It does this by reducing the amount of swings required, not the energy per swing.
