It's used when your in a party or group of people in order to recieve an item of high level or worth alot. For example, if your with a group of 4 people, hunting the pirate boss for pirate hat, and after a while you finally get it, whomever has the highest or lowest (depends on group) roll gets the item.

Well I use the dice alot I don't spam I belive it or not use it for my PARTY! Wow kinda rare right? Sometimes ppl will see just 3 dice being rolled. I think they need to add a temp spam ban like when u typ and yeah 5 min temp ban. I like the dice it works for me and I would still like it (:

Actually, there are many uses for the dice function.
As mentioned before, the dice function can be used for splitting drops within a party.
Another use for it is for "gambling."
ex: I yell out saying that I want to gamble some amount of money, say 20k. A friend or another person replies and says I want to play. We each roll the dice and whoever has the higher dice pays the money. Some people play differently by changing the rules. 1-1-30 is 5k. 31-60 is 10k. 61-90 is 20k. 91-100 is 30 or 40k.
Another, not so useful function, use for dice is for making decisions. I think I may be one of the only few that uses the dice for this, but I use it to decide something. If it is odds, I would do the favorable decision like go pking or go training. If it was even, it would be go boss hunting or make money.
These are some examples of how the dice function can be used. I provided a few examples of how I use it.
ON TOPIC: Dice spamming needs to be controlled and monitored.
Possible scammer: giftedhero
Reason: Claims he "hacks" people to return items scammed from them.

Hm, interesting. I've only been apart of the splitting drops dice roll, as I said above, but good to know that there are other uses.
I do agree, that dice spamming need to be monitored. I believe a good way to solve this would be to allow you to roll (3-5 times) as a max roll in a certain time period (Maybe a half hour or less?). Think of it just like Aol Instant Messenger..if you keep typing in fast responses repeatedly( like typing k in repeatedly for 15 seconds), after a certain period of time it will not let you type at all. Then a little while longer you are able to type. This is just an idea that I have come up with, but if others have better ideas, please post them here, and I will try to bring this up to Com2us .
