[Suggestion] Lower Graphic Settings

Hi, recently I've posted a suggestion to have the ability to rotate the display and, voila, it was done. Thank you.

My new suggestion is to have the option to lower the graphic settings.

Personally, I am playing on a first generation iPhone and obviously it doesn't have the RAM capabilities as the newer iPod Touches, iPhones.

The problems I have are low frame rates and high ping so let me discuss how having a lower graphic setting can significantly improve the playability of both of these aspects.

I've played IMO on a friends newer iPod touch, and simply, Wow. Incredibly smooth (at least in comparison) and I also noticed that my ping stayed relatively low when there were 10+ people around (which is quite astounding to me).

Therefore, I'd like to see the option available to lower the graphic settings. I'd play IMO with decreased quality for increased functionality and I'm sure others would agree.

Sometimes I want to play in lower connection places and those graphics just lag everything off >.<

I would say yes this is a good idea.
Its not a crazy or impossible idea, and its optional, and can reduce lag
so i see no flaw in it, so i agree

Connection has nothing to do with graphics. Even if you have a super computer, with a lousy internet connection you're still going to lag.

And the game is already a spirte based game. They *could* lower the frame rates, but I really doubt that will change much.

it's a game based on pixel sprites. i think there's a bigger issue than what you're experiencing, and it has something to do with a memory leak or two which cause the game to freeze up. it also causes the phone to overheat from time to time, causing the fps to drop drastically.

That is a good idea
I'm not sure how much the performance will increase for 3Gs and ipad
but anything below the 3Gs, the framerate should be smoother
BUT
it may be smoother on your lower gen iphone, the 3G is still slower than 3Gs to send packet to the server

It'll help in some ways, like the chat bubble, if you turn it off it lowers my ping by about 200-400. lowering graphics would help a lot if you knew more mmorpgs on the PC

Am I the only one (Wondering if my battery is dying) if I am plugged in, or using my 5400mAH battery, it slowly still depleates the battery. I am using a 3GS.
