New Platinum Store
It's amazing to me how com2us can release this new Platinum store (which is just another way to make money), before they actually did anything to address the many issues this game still has. I think every team of developers has the right to make money with the products they release but the least they can do is fix the issues that have been plagueing this game since it's release. I'm sure this new store that com2us put out will male them more money but overall this game will die quickly at this rate because com2us doesn't respect it's customer base. It's a shame to see a game that has huge potential head down a path where it won't last very long. So many have quit already....

whine whine whine.
what issues have been plaguing the game so badly? Or are you just going to make complaints in general.
The thing about the platinum store is that it gives com2us greater flexability on what they can sell via $$$. All in app purchase items need to be approved by apple (so I've heard) so if they want to add a new item it has to go through a process.
But by selling platinum it gives them greater freedom to sell a wider varity of items, because they can update the NPC with a server check easy.
The game is already out in Korean for many years and franky it wont be seeing alot of changes. Yes, it is changing slowly but dont expect any drastic changes anytime soon.

Yea like what this guy said. ^
Don't expect anything new. All of the updates so far are old existing game contents that are slowly being ported over to the global IMO server.

Ok let me not be as general and just the fact that so many have quit speaks for itself.
1. Game is virtually unplayable over 3G (since day 1)
2. Takes an insane amount of grinding to level
3. Scammers who are supported by mods
4. Drop rates are absolutely horrible
5. Lack of content and zones
6. No end game
By the way, nobody is whining. I made an observation and stated not only fact but opinion. Of course you had to come in here and start off by saying I'm whining rather than just saying something positive and constructive. People who try and start drama on an iPhone game forum are just plain sad...bottom line
By the way a$$hole, nobody is whin

Warlock but why not expect something new or fixes to things that already exist. I mean these guys at com2us talk about working hard all the time but I've only seen the same generic response to real suggestions from real gamers who care about this game and it's lifespan. I mean how can you answer every constructive post with "thanks for the suggestion, we will look into it"

well the only new thing it sells is the guild mark so it isnt really a big new scheme to make money, it justs give both the users and developers more flexibility (as stated by azmoon) we can buy small amounts of platinum now and then to save for something bigger, and with the prices of the items its very likely we will have change left over which, for constant item buyers, will build up and allow them to purchase something. So its not game ruining, more of a way of giving us more control over what we buy and giving the developers a way to expand the shop

Yes that's their answer because if they were to promise you that it will happen, what happens when they don't deliver? Many forumers will come here and cause more trouble.

I'm not saying make a promise that it will happen but at least address each quality suggestion with a personal response. Such as "cool that might work and we can try" or "no we can't do something like". I mean their whole strategy as it stands is, give a generic response and never speak of it again. Makes me feel like they don't give a shit but maybe that's just me. Maybe I'm expecting too much from the community and developers.

@ Stefan, listen like I stated in my original post, I have no problem with devs making money. I mean this is their job and of course they should do what they have to make money. My issue is the fact that they are thinking about more efficient ways to make money rather than addressing the issues this game has. Take a look at a game like WoW, hugely successful because they take into account every glitch, imbalance, hardware/software issues and they also constantly expand their game with content. That formula works and it will continue to work. I can bet that WoW would never be as huge as it is today if it had come out and been the same game today as it was on the day it was released.

There is an end game its level 50. And no scammers are supported by the mods, Kyle later apologized for his post. And please don't use foul language. I've been playing Maplestory the past week or so...and for those who complain about grinding in this game...try Maplestory its way worse.
