Exclamation Loot Bug

Hello com2us admins
I think there is a bug on the item loot.
I killed a mutant woopa at the beach and it dropped a brown colored skill book, when I was going to pick it up, the surrounding woopas killed me. When I returned to the spot to pick up the items, it said 'You Cannot Loot'.
I am quite sad as the skill book should be either a Flare I or FireBolt II which is worth quite a lot and I am not able to pick it up.
Hope you guys can look into it and fix it, if possible randomly give me either of the skillbook. I will be really greatful as I have just started IMO and do not have many items or gold.
Thanks!

Regards
Zeck

It was a flare.

Just keep telling that to your self so you feel better.

And no, it is not possible for them to give you the skillbook. No way to validate your claim and its not com2us fault you died.

well even if i died I should be able to go back to the spot and pick it up? the items were still there but I cant pick them up. it said You Cannot Loot.
Its supposed to be this way? Are you sure?
Even if they cant give me the items at least fix the bug. They can just try it out to see if there is really a item loot bug after u died.
Thanks.

Was the monster's HP lowered when you first started fighting it?

This is how the game works.

If you, for example, kill a monster and then change maps, then go back to the first map, and try to loot, it wont register you as the owner.

So if you die, the same thing happens, you cannot loot, because you changed map. (see the loading screen)

I am *not* sure what happens if you use a phoenix blood to revive on the spot though.

Maybe they will fix it in a future update? Who knows. But this issues has been raised to them before.

Same with spiteful people who see you attacking a Chief Woopa Roopa, drag billions of Woopas and Roopas over and slaughter them so that the loot overlaps.

It didn't happen to me, however, but I saw it being done to someone else.

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Yes, sorry. It was built in such way. If you change your map or die and come back, previously gained items cannot be looted
