Default Better cards/more points in later seasons?

Hi all,

I just finished my first season and am a few games into my second. Do you earn double points for everything the second time around? Anyone on a third or later season and can speak to what happens then?

I'm getting 40 pts for a double, 80 pts for a stolen base, 1000 points for a 4-hit game (just a few of the points I remember off the top of my head). I'm pretty sure this is double what they were worth in my first season.

I was thinking of resetting after the first season was over because I cannot get a stupid Hanley Ramirez card and thought I'd start as the Marlins to get him (and it seems you're more likely to receive upgraded player cards from your own team), but with double points I think I'll have to keep this season going, especially if the third season brings about another increase in points.

Also, I seem to be getting more/better cards from in-game achievements. Still no stupid Hanley, but I'm still hopeful it'll happen one day...

in season 3 it is still just double points, so I don't think it increases beyond that. As for better chances of player cards, I have no idea. I did read one of the tips somehow that just flash for a second before games that said you have a higher chance of players if your achievement % is higher. It seems to work, although some of the achievements seem near impossible to get. I have no idea how that nationals guy managed to get 97%... Anyway I play the mariners and I rarely get mariner cards, so I don't think you should restart just to get hanley. You should buy marlins cards if you want him, the 1500 cards. I don't think buying the more expensive cards is worth it, but I haven't tested it enough yet.

The best way to get points is to play exhibition games on easy mode. Just skip pitching and bunt-and-run every time you have runners on base with less than 2 outs. Also, I play exhibitions with a 10% card coach and a 5% card cheerleader to make it more interesting.
