Ranch Level (XP): shows your ranch level. You may gain XP from decorating your ranch or entering races; Accumulated ranch XP will level up the ranch.

Carrot: shows the number of carrots in possession. Carrots may be obtained from harvesting or from races. Carrots are used to provide energy for horses and for horses to start breeding.

Energy: shows available Energy. Energy is needed to harvest and race. An energy is provided every 5 minutes.

Coins: shows the amount of Coins you have. It is Derby Days’s monetary unit that is spent on training and to purchase items. Coins may be collected from harvesting buildings or participating in races.

Cash: shows the amount of Cash you have. This monetary unit is used to speed up training period and cooltime given for cross-breeding horses. It allows users to play the game faster and more effectively in the time spent.

Recharging Button: tapping this button will take you to the shop where you may purchase Coin and/or Cash.

Quest: Quests are given throughout the game. Tapping this button allows you to access the mission given in the quest. Upon completing each quest, rewards are given.

Friends: takes you to your friends list. You may obtain bonus from visiting friends.

Menu: You may access your stable/inventory/option window/edit/Shop using the menu buttons. You may open and close the menu using the arrows.
[How To Play]
Feeding
You must feed your horse in order for it to start moving. Tapping the carrot above horse’s head feeds the horse. Each feed costs 1 Carrot.
Horse Info / Menu
Tapping each horse reveals his/her profile info (name age, level, XP, coins earned).
On the bottom, you are give 3 different options for your horse: train, local derby, championship.
*What Each Button Represents
Train Button : marks current training’s grade
Derby Button : marks the number of races the horse has won / total races available
Championship Button : marks the number of Championships won / total unlocked Championships
Training
Training is the only way you can level up your horse.
Tapping Train button reveals 6 types of training options.
Depending on the ranch level, training sessions of different time lengths are unlocked. They all vary in effectiveness.
Tapping the training session you wish to engage in will cost you some Coins, and your horse starts training immediately.
Foals engage in water training; Adult horses engage in tire-pulling training on dirt ground. Once the horses finish training, they return to ranch and wait for you to complete the session. Tapping the horse increases the horses’ XP.
If you wish to finish training right away, tap the blue button.
This will cost you Cash, and increase the horses’ XP immediately.
Participating in Races
Racing in the best way to earn Coins.
Tap a horse > tap “race” > tap “participate” to start racing.
Winning in races allows horses to race in higher races.
Speech bubbles show while racing. Tapping these bubbles within 3 seconds will give you bonus.
At the end of the race, you receive the appropriate prize money and ranch XP.
You may press “skip” to skip to the end of the race.
Skipping costs 1 Energy.
Championships
Championships rewards you with not only Coins but rare animals/buildings upon winning.
A new championship becomes available as you meet the ranch level and horse level requirement.
In Championships, you get to race against more competitive horses include those of Mr. Wilde’s.
Speech bubbles show up in Championships as they do in regular derbies.
There is a cooltime for entering Championship races. You must wait a certain amount of time before racing again.
If you’d like to cut down this cooltime, you may press the blue button.
Speeding it up will cost you Cash.
Mating
Breed your horse with your friend’s for a more beautiful, talented horse.
8 hours after requesting to mate with friend’s horse upon visiting his/ranch, a new foal will be delivered to your ranch. If you’re too impatient to see the new foal, you may use Cash to receive it right away.
Mating requires Coins and Carrots. Your friend will receive half of the total Coin amount.
The price for cross-breeding depends on the partner horse’s appearance and level.
Requesting to mate with a horse that is of higher level than mine may result in higher level foal.

Harvesting Buildings
Buildings placed in the ranch may be harvested every given hour.
Once the buildings are ready to be harvested, a speech bubble appears above. Tap this Coin bubble to obtain Coins.
Each harvest costs 1 Energy.
Harvest time and Coins vary for each building. You may randomly receive Carrot/Energy.
Quests
Quests allow users to obtain Coins and XP.
A small quest is given from the start of the game, and reward is given for completing each quest.
Quest varies depending on individual’s progress in the game.
All quests are achievable, but if you’d like to skip the quest, you may finish the quest right away by pressing the blue button.
Skipping a quest costs you Cash.
Shop
Hundreds of items are available for purchase in Shop.
Tapping the Shop button in the menu menu will take you to the shop.
Any item you find in Shop you wish to place in your ranch, you may select and purchase.
Some items may be purchased using Coins, and some items may be purchased using Cash. If you wish you purchase more of either monetary unit, you may do so in the recharging station.
